Eichholtz Autosport is an auto racing team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. They currently field teams in the ARLA Elite Series, TM Master Cup Series, Formula Overdrive, and Dash Cup.

ARLA[edit | edit source]

Jacob Eichholtz pilots the #231 Bitter Pills Saar in the ARLA Elite Series, while Ben Atkins drives the number 84 Saar-powered car.

TM Master Cup[edit | edit source]

The team made its first TM Master Cup series attempt at the 2010 Karjala Grand Prix, but failed to make the field. An E231 chassis was lent to 1987 World Champion Christian Kallela for the race, and he managed to qualify the car, however he had an incident-filled race despite showing flashes of speed.

Patrick Eichholtz surprisingly qualified for the 2010 Round of Decatur, running as high as 12th before getting into an accident with Serena Bacherro, who was publicly criticized during the race weekend by high profile drivers such as Adrian Devereux. Eichholtz managed to finish 26th in a car that could've finished in the top-ten due to the high attrition of the event.

Both Jacob Eichholtz and Ben Atkins qualified on raw speed for the 2011 Round of Decatur. Atkins finished an impressive fifth, but Eichholtz's faster #231 car was damaged in a pit collision on the first cycle of pit stops and did not score a point.

Jacob Eichholtz runs the #231 Red Hot Race Wear Omecha in the 2012 edition of the Independent's Trophy. He scored the team's first TM Master Cup points at the 2012 Round of Las Vegas. Ben Atkins also runs for the Independent's Trophy, but runs for Atlantic Motorsports rather than for the Eichholtz team.

Formula Overdrive[edit | edit source]

The team made its Formula Overdrive debut in 2011 with Manny Goldstein and Evan Wauters before the series closed. The series came back for 2012, but the Eichholtz team was run under the ClarTech factory team banner with Tommi Arjanien and Recindo Gonzalez as drivers.
