FARC National Series Driver

Edwin Schwarzloski (born March 17, 1975 in Fucking, Austria) is an Austrian race car driver currently competing in the ARLA Elite Series. Schwarzloski is the first amputee to have won a race in ARLA competition; he lost his right arm several years ago, but he refuses to tell anyone what happened (although he was once heard muttering "That monkey is going to pay" after walking away from a reporter who had asked him what happened to his arm).

Schwarzloski formerly competed in touring car races in Europe. He regularly won races despite his disability, and established a reputation as a kind-hearted and generous person, regularly donating his winnings to various children's charities.

In 2011, Schwarzloski was named as a spokesperson for the children's charity Hope 4 All. He regularly participates in Hope 4 All events, including the annual Hope 4 All Marathon in Chicago, Illinois.

2012 has been rough on Schwarzloski, 4 DNF's in 7 races, although he started on the pole and led most of the 2012 Radii Radiators 300 before the race was called because of Mark Freestone's accident, and because of this, the results were wiped, so Schwarzloski isn't credited with the win.
