The Riverside International Raceway is a defunct road course that was in Riverside, California. It had 4 configurations, a 3.3 mile long course, a 2.6 mile Stock Car Course, a 2.5 mile Short Course, and a 1/4 mile drag strip on it's backstretch. Sports Cars and Open wheel cars ran here, it is unknown if FARC or any of the TM sanctioned series went here.

Closure[edit | edit source]

In 1988 it was announced that it would close down for housing development and a Karl's Superstore. It would hold it's final race in 1989. Parts of the track itself would be still around until 2003 when the Turn 9 was torn up to make way for more housing development.

Revival[edit | edit source]

The Supermarket chain Karl's Superstore announced in 2012 that the ARLA Elite Series and the ARLA Street Stocks West division would race in a empty part of their warehouse. The store was built on the Road Course shortly after the track's demolition.
