Max Rentacar is an American businessman and racing driver from Florida. He is the founder and current CEO of MPire Rent-a-Car, and co-owner of Apex Racing School.

Rentacar competed in what is now the FARC Lowe Dollar Series between 1979 and 1985, winning the opening round at Daytona in his final season. He enjoyed a personal friendship with series founder Henry Walker and repeatedly praised FARC's lower barrier of entry compared to other racing tours. This has motivated many attempts to provide driving opportunities for ordinary people, through both MPire and independent ventures. While this mission has produced some race winners, he has also faced heavy criticism and litigation for several horrific incidents over the years, none of which have stopped him.
