Backround[edit | edit source]

Benjamin Terrence Maddox, of Monroe, Michigan is a driver-in-the-make in Voltson Super Trucks under the team name [The] M & M Crew. He is married to Jennifer Yovak, and he has three children. Born in 1986 in March, Maddox was always a kid in the candy store when it comes to short track racing. In May of 1996, Ben began short tracking in go karts at Kalamazoo Raceway. He was the star of the show, because at only ten, he'd win the short track race. Which prior, only ages 14 and up could participate in. Eventually, he would move up into a 4-race series dubbed the "Short Trackin' Series" and win a couple times using a Saar Truck until he was 17. 5 days prior to his 18th birthday, Maddox was involved in a multi-car crash on I-40 which would render Maddox to a coma for 17 days while recovering from his broken neck injury. He'd be wheelchair bound until 6 months after the crash. During which time he'd meet his wife Jennifer Yovak. During which time he'd also meet his long-time best friend, Scott Madigan. Scott Madigan to Ben, was his life saver, along with Jennifer. Without them, he'd never have learned to walk again. See, Scott and Jennifer were both trainee EMS rescuers. Finally, after 6 months of recovery, Ben would regain his ability to walk, due to the unending support his friends would give him. At age 19, he'd retry his works in the same Saar Truck he raced with in the 4-tracks series. At age 21, he'd win his first short trackin' championship. At age 22, he would finally marry his long-time girlfriend of 3 years after endless shoves from Scott Madigan and his own girlfriend. Recently, him and Madigan would take advice from another long-time friend, Damien Josyl to start a team and run in a truck series named Voltson Super Trucks. After some discussion and help of another friend named Alexa Lake, Madigan and Maddox would run their own team named the M & M Crew.
