The Alberta Superspeedway is a two-mile D-shaped oval located in Blue Ridge, Alberta, Canada. It was formerly known as Blue Ridge Speedway up until 2010. The ARLA Elite Series and TM Master Cup Series both raced here up until 2011. It currently hosts the Round of Alberta for TM Canada.

TM Master Cup Series[edit | edit source]

The track was on the Master Cup schedule every year from 1999 to 2010 (with the exception of 2007, when the track was being repaved). The 2008 Round of Canada and 2009 Round of Canada were won by Scott Bates, while the 2010 Round of Canada was won by Tony Durbin. The 2009 event was mostly famous for a very controversial pit lane incident between Alexis Rainsford and Ryan Nawrocki, which eventually led to Nawrocki being banned for life from the Master Cup Series.

ARLA Elite Series[edit | edit source]

Dale Underwood won the 2010 Blue Ridge 150.

The 2011 Xenos Alberta Duels had a very exciting finish in Race 1. In the final ten seconds of the race, Packer Carroll, Allie Riggs, and Mumba Kumangu all had a shot at the win, with Riggs eventually prevailing. Packer was second and Kumangu was third. Race 2 had Nico Petrov winning the race. Both races were marred by two huge accidents that involved Leslie Riggs, Ricky Navarro, Eric Jackson and Damien Snyder. Riggs and Navarro had to sit out next race at Alaska while Jackson was sidelined for the rest of the reason.
