The 2012 Japanese Grand Prix was the tenth race of the 2012 Dash Cup season. It was held at the Osaka Street Circuit in Osaka, Japan.

ARLA superstar Leslie Riggs submitted an entry for this race and the following race, the Motegi Grand Prix. Riggs, in an STS carrying her familiar No. 50 and sponsor b, promptly went out and set the pole time for this event.

Patrick Arceneau took over the points lead by virtue of his fourth-place finish, taking advantage of poor finishes by Radomir Stanoytchev and Anto Markov. Reuben Vogt moved into second place in the standings, while Stanoytchev dropped to third and Markov to fourth. Terry Orvell Jr. held onto the fifth spot.

Verity Logan was the big mover in the top 10, as she rocketed up eight places from fourteenth to sixth. Jack Parker dropped to seventh, Herashi Nanaya moved up four places to eighth, and the Atlantic Motorsports teammates Daniel Miller and Carla Rosinki rounded out the top 10.
