Preseason changes[edit | edit source]

Due to a majority of the tracks on the 2012 calendar being located in the Tornado Alley region of the United States, ARLA decided to change the name of the Thunder Truck Series to the ARLA Tornado Alley Truck Series. The schedule also expanded by one race. The season finale, however, remains at Rockford Speedway.

Much like Bolden in the TM Lights, Saar is the lone manufacturer in 2012, providing its Nebraska model.
